When a pastor says, "I have a teaching ministry." what he is actually saying is that he plans to shirk many of his duties, unless he believes in plurality of elders and the work is divided. One should reference, II Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. They may even neglect Proverbs 27:23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. Instead of preaching they give a nice lecture that convicts no one and in the end makes the people who attend self satisfied with their own spirituality.  Revelation 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

 I find more and more that I cannot express myself in a safe place that does not offend someone or be accused of attacking the viewer. Almost everyone is more concerned about these things: 1. their feelings,  2. being respected the way they define respect and demand to be "respected",  3. being "comfortable",  4. triggers,  5. issues, 6. perceived aggression's,  7. boundaries,  8. emotions  9. space, They are more concerned about themselves in a very narcissistic way than they are about anyone else. No one wants to talk about truth! No one wants to be confronted with Truth. No one wants to be reproved for inappropriate behavior, sin or anything else. I  remember a time when my first born was very young and an only child. My son went to visit relatives with his dad and I went alone to visit my family. We visited Sea World and San Diego Zoo. Every time I saw something neat I turned to show it to my son. He was not there. It was okay because he was happy with his dad and we would be all back together in a few days.  A few weeks later an old friend came back to my church. She had transferred away with her military husband and in her absence she had been in a bad car accident and lost her firstborn.
