When a pastor says, "I have a teaching ministry." what he is actually saying is that he plans to shirk many of his duties, unless he believes in plurality of elders and the work is divided. One should reference, II Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. They may even neglect Proverbs 27:23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. Instead of preaching they give a nice lecture that convicts no one and in the end makes the people who attend self satisfied with their own spirituality.  Revelation 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

 In this blog I am working on emotions and their role in the Christian life. I find that many people equate feelings with fact, or as completely valid or as important as facts. Since as a Christian I can say that any "fact" that does not line up with the Bible is not a "fact" but something else, most probably an opinion.  The Bible (and in my blog that means the KJV) hardly ever mentions the word "feelings" or "feel" and when it does, it is talking about the physical sense of touch.
