I find more and more that I cannot express myself in a safe place that does not offend someone or be accused of attacking the viewer.

Almost everyone is more concerned about these things:

1. their feelings,

2. being respected the way they define respect and demand to be "respected",

3. being "comfortable",

4. triggers,

5. issues,

6. perceived aggression's,

7. boundaries,

8. emotions

9. space,

They are more concerned about themselves in a very narcissistic way than they are about anyone else.

No one wants to talk about truth! No one wants to be confronted with Truth. No one wants to be reproved for inappropriate behavior, sin or anything else. If they feel conviction it is your fault for even alluding to it.

Now these entitled persons, who by the way are mostly young, have no problem doing to you what you cannot do to them! They will falsely accuse you, refuse to listen to you. When you want to talk they say you did not respond to their text the way they wanted it to be responded to and so there is no point in talking. They plug their ears and refuse to listen while loudly blaming you for the entire world of wrong.

I want to express my thoughts in a way that I can get honest feedback from persons who love God and the Bible and Truth.  I am just for now trying this out.

  1. I have considered this long and often. It is very sad. Those that we love seem to have moved so far away from where we are in our Biblical understanding. It appears that we are speaking Latin to them and they are speaking German to us. The basic values that were once shared are no longer there. So there is as great a barrier to communication as there would be if we were speaking a different language.

  2. Sin is everywhere and we are seeing the last days as described in II Timothy and Revelation 3. Church members who are unregenerate.

  3. A very good friend stated that feelings and the heart was not the same. And I do agree with that. They are not synonymous. I see the "heart" as referenced in the Bible as whole with feelings or emotions being one part of the whole. So that the "heart" is our mind, intellect and emotions all together. Proverbs 23:7 or as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
It is what makes us who we are. I cannot at this point differentiate between soul and heart it is to deep for me. But I do believe that our emotions and feelings are a significant part of the Biblical heart.
